Master the Basics. Build the Bond. Swing the Loop.

🐎 What We’ll Cover
We believe a great rope horse starts with a great handle. Our day is split into two focused sessions:
| Session | Focus Areas |
| Morning: Horsemanship | Proper body position, cueing for transitions, and “the stop.” |
| Lunch Break | Q&A with clinicians (Lunch provided). |
| Afternoon: Roping basics | Rope handling, ground dummy practice, and introducing the rope to your horse. |
🛠 What to Bring
- Your horse (must be sound and manageable in a group setting). If you do not have a horse, that is OK, too. We will be doing a lot of instruction and ground work. Discuss this with Andreas Sanchez as there may be horses available.
- A lariat/rope (if you don’t have one, we will have extras).
- A positive attitude and a thirst for learning!
Note: Negative Coggins test within the last 12 months is strictly required for all horses entering the facility as well as a health certificate.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a “finished” rope horse? Absolutely not! This clinic is about the introduction. We welcome green horses, provided they are safe to ride in an arena with others.
Can I bring someone with me? We understand many of our members prefer to travel with someone. We will need to know a head of time and have them sign a waiver. We do ask they not enter the arena during the clinic without approval by Andreas Sanchez. They must sign
Is there a rain date? The arena we are using is uncovered, but there is an alternate available. We will connect with those attending if there is a change.
