This clinic would not be taking place without the hard work of Warriors and Rodeo Vice President Kyle Vinyard. Vinyard is an Active Duty Army Warrant Officer and Paratrooper assigned to Fort Carson, CO. He has served almost 17 years including multiple overseas tours and two combat deployments, one in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is an avid team roper and ranch horse competitor who volunteers his personal time supporting military and first responders. In addition to his involvement with Warriors and Rodeo, he also mentors future Air Force Leaders as a coach for the U.S. Air Force Academy Rodeo Team.

Vinyard is the coordinator for this event. You will find him instructing, organizing, participating, and having a great time with all who attend. Thank you Kyle for your service to our great country and all you do for those who serve.

More Details

Warriors and Rodeo clinics provide an opportunity for those who serve this great country to learn and improve their roping skills. Whether you are just starting or a #8 or #9 we will have something for you. When you apply for a spot, you will explain your skill level so we can be sure to have things prepared for you and all attending.

Bring your team roping horse to the clinic. If you need a spot to camp and keep your horse, that will all be provided by our generous host, Nick Pullara and his family. This will have to be arranged ahead of time. There are two spots with electricity that will be saved for those without a generator. Please bring your generator if you have one. We will need to know ahead of time to hold a spot and stalls. Motels aren’t far away either. We will provide info if needed.

Feel free to come the evening before to get set up for the clinic. If you are approved to attend, we will send an email with the location, directions, and what time you can arrive on site. This is a private residence and arena so we ask all attending to respect the property, family, and any instructions given concerning the property. More details will be shared via email for those attending.

If you are staying to compete in the State Trooper Memorial Roping, please let us know ahead of time. This is a great opportunity to support a worthy event and also show off your new skills from the clinic. Let’s win it and show them who Warriors and Rodeo is!

Warriors and Rodeo will provide coffee and donuts in the morning and lunch on Thursday and Friday. Feel free to bring something to share with your brothers and sisters in arms. Passing good food around and snacks is a nice way to say howdy partner. Dinner Thursday and Friday night will be a planned dinner at a local restaurant. This will not be paid for by W.A.R. It’s a great time for comradery, getting to know each other, and replenishing after a hard day in the arena.

bobfeistinvitational

The Bob Feist Invitation hosts an auction each year to raise money for multiple non-profit organizations. We are honored to have been one of those who have been featured and been a recipient of those generous donations. This clinic is brought to you due to BFI, Heel-O-Matic, and those who donate at the event. https://bfiweek.com/
